Character (Original Universe)
Name: Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Age: 15-17-ish? (It’s hard to tell)
Gender: Male
Canon: Ultimate Spider-Man (Disney XD universe)
Canon Point: post-Spider-Verse (comic book storyline, not the cartoon’s storyline of the same name)
History: http://marvel.wikia.com/Peter_Parker_(Earth-TRN123)
Personality: Peter, like most other Spider-Men, runs with the entire “Great Power comes Great Responsibility” schtick, using the death of his dear Uncle Ben as a big motivator to keep moving on and protect people. He doesn’t keep it buried like some deep, dark secret and will openly admit that he screwed up with it. However, the moment is what he used to be a better person, not giving into despair or revenge.

Like most over Spider-Men, he does have the problem with being respected, as even here, J. Jonah Jameson treats the web-slinger like crap and a number of people have followed suit. One incident lead him to moving to Boston after Jonah placed a bounty on getting him unmasked and the city was willing to make him their number one hero. Another incident lead to him being attacked by the demon Nightmare after his teammates went Christmas shopping without him and, in a dream world, got him to stop being Spider-Man. Thus, it’s not uncommon for him to feel like he’s being crapped on from time to time. On the other hand, he does command a great amount of respect and inspiration - his heroics at a young age inspired other teenagers to become heroes as well, he’s been given a spot on the Avengers and even gone so far as to befriend the Hulk.

Something of a defense mechanism of his is his ability to fire out odd wisecracks at his opponents. Easily a way to rile up an opponent, he uses this both to keep him calm and to get an advantage over them. However, this seems to go into overdrive compared to other web-slingers as he's been shown to break the fourth wall and converse with the audience. This has caused others to worry about him, such as when the mainstream Miles Morales and the 1967 animated Spider-Man caught him doing so and declare that he probably lost his marbles.

Peter's big character evolution has been him going from a loner to a team player. He was recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D. with the intent on training a set of recruits to act like heroes, something the web-slinger wasn't too keen on. However, while he isn't leadership material by any stretch of the meaning, he can act like one in a pinch. Even more, he also has the knack of forming his own team on the fly, something he did when he took three recruits - Agent Venom, Ka-Zar and Zabu, and Amadeus Cho - and turned them into an impromptu hero team to counter an invading Taskmaster and his own team. Granted, though, this was less putting a team together on the fly and more getting a team of way-too-anxious heroes into working together when the chips were down.
Third-Person Sample: Okay, I know this sounds strange, but bear with me on this - I’m. A NINJA. A ninja. Can you believe that? I mean, there’s already a ninja Spider-Man and he has a wicked bald head! And I’m not talking about Deadpool - that’s just people mistaking him for me.

Among the rooftops of Residential Area I, Spider-Man was busy trying to get used to his newfound abilities… and sorely missing every other one he had. Trailing right behind him was a Moogle in a trenchcoat and wearing an eye patch. As the web-slinger made a jump, he let out a panicked yelp as he barely cleared the rooftop.

“Jeez, that building was just TOO far out.” he gasped out, taking a breath.

“There’s no time to sit around and catch your breath-kupo!” the Moogle said. “This world needs you, Hero of Light, and they can’t do it while you’re resting!”

This… is Fury. Yeah, he sounds like Nick Fury back home and it looks like he’s dressed up as him, too. Seriously, this is freaking me out. One Fury is bad enough, but two?! And I hate for the two to meet up - things would REALLY get out of hand!

“And are you talking to yourself AGAIN?!” Fury snapped.

“No, I am not talking to myself!” Spidey snapped back. “I’m just… talking.”

“Whatever-kupo! Back to work!” Fury replied, causing the webslinger to groan, roll his eyes behind his mask and continue his run. “Don’t worry, I’m sure there’s a White Mage who can put you back together if you miss-kupo!”

“Oh, that’s VERY reassuring…” Suddenly, I miss fighting for my life against interdimensional vampires…
Mognet Sample:

Attention Heroes of Light,

First of all: “Heroes of Light”? Are you sure I didn’t get dropped off at some LARP game and I’m feeling the effects of dimensional hopping? I mean, there’s no way my world could have been destroyed as if it was part of some Secret Wars, now was there?

Second of all, I’m running a little short on change and I need materials so I can make my webbing. Just because my name’s “Spider-Man” doesn’t mean that I shoot webbing all willy-nilly. And it’s not cheap, too. Especially since this is S.H.I.E.L.D.-issued.

Give me a call back if you guys can help me out on that end, ‘kay?
